King George, VA: Jazz In The Country 3rd Annual Benefit Jazz Festival

Annual festival supporting Historic Mt Bethel Retreat Center in King George. Acquired in 1898, Mt Bethel was a safe haven for African Americans at a time when not welcome at most public establishments. 

We honor and celebrate its legacy as a black-owned resource for family recreation. Help us help them revitalize facilities for future summer youth camps. 

2022 Festival Lineup: Billboard-charting Flutist Kim Scott; acclaimed Jazz Keyboardist Matthew Whittaker and inspirational sax player Tony Craddock & Cold Front will grace the stage - along with local faves the Brencore Allstars and The Sound Fusion Project.

Festival gate opens at 11am. Rain or Shine. Free parking. Food vendors. Bring your lawn chair and relax on the banks of the Potomac River. No alcohol or free-standing tents/canopies. Sponsor/Partner opportunities available.
