A native of Virginia, Roy Wyatt is a published author of eight (8) books. He is instrumental writing on valuable and meaningful topics designed to increase readers awareness to some, while maximizing potential for success in everyday situations for others. He came to prominence with his pioneering research on African History, producing the book “Color ‘n America”, retelling the story of African Americans pursuit of freedom and history in the United States of America. Besides incredible struggles, the book also celebrates the contributions and sacrifices made by black Americans, paying respect to the people and events that shaped American history. His book has garnered him much recognition. Roy has been interviewed by the nation’s most prestigious HBCU – FISK University, appearing on their national talk show “What’s the 411 with Mary Kay”, spoken at numerous colleges/universities during Black History month, featured in local and national new medias, local talk shows, books sold throughout the country, as well several museums.
